The authors make the case for the adoption of a distinctively osteopathic EPA that they believe would help both MD and DO educators recognize and nurture the unique attributes and skills that DO graduates can be expected to bring to patient care and enhance the profile of osteopathic distinctiveness in the context of the SAS.
